You can have a herniated disk without knowing it — herniated disks sometimes show up on spinal images of people who have no symptoms of a disk problem. But some herniated disks can be painful. Most herniated disks occur in your lower back (lumbar spine), although they can also occur in your neck (cervical spine).

There are many paths to take, and the first is to sit down with us, and review a comprehensive questionairre we created. In some cases we may pair this with a blood test to be sure. There are a variety of conditions that that exercise and nutritional counseling will help. Among them are:
As important as nutrition is, exercise is just as important! Part of our review process is to look at your lifestyle, and just how much exercise you are getting. Do you take the stairs or the elevator? Park close to the door or further out? Have an exercise routine or a couch potato–somewhere in between.
Through the review process, we will put the pieces of your symptoms together to determine the best course of action.
Sometimes people have the inability to lose weight no matter what they do. These people find that their best efforts to lose weight provide extremely limited results and they’re very frustrated. Many times there is a loss of appetite and these people experience a severe loss of energy as well. The problem is that their metabolism has shifted into low gear. In these cases, the weight loss difficulty is part of a larger problem. The causes of difficult weight loss include a misdiagnosed Thyroid condition, Insulin resistance, hormone imbalance, Liver toxicity, chronic gut infections, inflammation, food allergies and many more. Through proper testing, the doctors at Core Health Solutions are able to detect which of these problems is interfering with proper metabolic function. Once an accurate diagnosis is found, we can then begin to support the right systems of the body to help the individual regain proper metabolic function. Only then can the individual achieve the long term weight loss that they’ve been searching for.
Nerve damage from diabetes is called diabetic neuropathy (new-ROP-uh-thee). About half of all people with diabetes have some form of nerve damage. It is more common in those who have had the disease for a number of years and can lead to many kinds of problems.
Peripheral neuropathy can cause tingling, pain, numbness, or weakness in your feet and hands. The problem happens when people are prescribed medicine that focuses on the symptoms rather than the solution. Core Health Solution will take a comprehensive look at:
Tingling
Pain or Increased Sensitivity
Numbness or Weakness

Sciatica is the name given to any pain stemming from the irritation of the sciatic nerve. The shoulder is a ball-and-socket joint that has three main bones: the humerus (long arm bone), the clavicle (collarbone), and the scapula (also known as the shoulder blade). These bones are cushioned by a layer of cartilage. There are two main joints. The acromioclavicular joint is between the highest part of the scapula and the clavicle. The glenohumeral joint is made up of the top, ball-shaped part of the humerus bone and the outer edge of the scapula. This joint is also known as the shoulder joint.
The shoulder joint is the most mobile joint in the body. It moves the shoulder forward and backward. It also allows the arm to move in a circular motion, and to move up and away from the body.
Shoulders get their range of motion from the rotator cuff. The rotator cuff is made up of four tendons. Tendons are the tissues that connect muscles to bone. It may be painful or difficult to lift your arm over your head if the tendons or bones around the rotator cuff are damaged or swollen.

The thyroid gland is a butterfly-shaped endocrine gland that is normally located in the lower front of the neck. The thyroid’s job is to make thyroid hormones, which are secreted into the blood and then carried to every tissue in the body. Thyroid hormone helps the body use energy, stay warm and keep the brain, heart, muscles, and other organs working as they should. American Thyroid Association Core Health Solutions does MUCH more than prescribe medicine to cover the symptoms, we focus on the solution!
